Indicates if an investor action is required. It references the ISO 15022/20022 notation "CAMV" (Mandatory/Voluntary Indicator).
Possible field values: - Mandatory: No election possible. The event happens automatically (e.g., cash dividend payments). - Mandatory with Options: The investor has to participate, but can choose how (e.g., a Scrip Dividend where the investor chooses Cash or Shares). If the investor does not communicate their choice, a default is applied. - Voluntary: The investor can choose whether to participate at all (e.g., a Tender Offer or an Exchange Offer).
