OFST6060XX – Investor-specific Exclusion

This field specifies whether the fund prospectus contains any exclusions related to specific jurisdictions. Such exclusions may be based on one or more of the following criteria: - Domiciliation: Refers to the investor’s legal home - the place where they reside with the intention of establishing a permanent settlement. An investor can usually have only one domicile at a time (e.g., Swiss Civil Code, Article 23). Domiciliation determines an investor’s legal rights and obligations, including tax liabilities. - Residency: Refers to the investor’s current place of living. Multiple residencies may exist simultaneously. Although often used interchangeably with domiciliation, residency differs in legal aspects such as taxation and financial status. - Citizenship: Refers to the investor’s nationality, typically linked to the jurisdiction issuing their passport. - Other: Covers additional situations or investor definitions used in the financial industry, such as "U.S. investor".

This field can have multiple values, which should be given separated by a pipe "|" (ASCII 124) symbol. Usually the OF-ID has to be changed and XX has to be replaced with the two digit ISO country code in a flat file layout. If used as OFST606000 (XX replaced by number 00), the file layout changes from a "flat file layout" to a "narrow file layout". Narrow file layout means that there is a separate line for each country that is specified in column OFST600000 (each country were the share class is registered for sale).

FundsXML 4 mapping

FundsXML 4.2.11 has no element for this field. The converter keeps the value as CustomAttributes/Attribute named OF_OFST6060XX on the share class (or position), so FundsXML → openfunds restores it unchanged.

The field mapping table lists every field; openfunds to FundsXML explains the rules behind it.
